Meet Your Loss Assessors
Mike has been working in the Insurance Industry for over 18 years. He initially dealt with product and public liability claims for a Construction Company before joining OSG Loss Adjusters. There he was trained to deal with domestic and commercial claims. Mike showed a particular expertise in dealing with Agricultural Losses and was eventually identified as the lead Adjuster within OSG on all types of Agricultural claims dealing with Property and Liability Losses.
Following a number of years of Loss Adjusting, Mike crossed lines to become an Independent Property Loss Assessor by joining Des Owens & Company; later, becoming Owens McCarthy Claims Specialists. As a Senior Loss Assessor, Mike dealt again with all types of Property, Commercial and Agricultural claims where he worked on behalf of the Policyholders representing their interests in negotiating the best possible settlement under the cover of their policy.
After five years Mike set out on his own and set up O’Sullivan Claims. Customer satisfaction and obtaining the maximum value of the client’s claims was the main focus of O’Sullivan Claims. Mike brought his many years of experience in dealing with Major and Complex claims in making O’Sullivan Claims a very successful venture. Many professional relationships with Solicitors, Architects and Quantity Surveyors were built which continue to grow today. This has allowed Mike to call on all levels of expertise in making sure the client receives the best possible advice and solution to the Insured peril.
Raymond holds a BA in Legal Studies from Waterford Institute of Technology, specialising in company law in his final year. He has over 21 years of Loss Adjusting experience having joined Cunningham Lindsey (formally GAB Robins) in March 2002. There he worked in their head office in Dublin until 2003 before subsequently moving to their Waterford Branch where he was appointed Office Manager in 2006. During this time he attained a DIP LA in 2011. During his time loss adjusting, he became involved in many large, technical and complex losses in the Southern region and was centrally involved in the Dublin and Cork flood claims of recent years. He also played a major role in the Cork office for many years dealing primarily with Subsidence and Commercial losses.
In January 2014 Raymond left Cunningham Lindsey and joined OSG for 6 months in their Waterford office to assist them with the large volume of Storm Claims which arose following the major storm in February 2014.
Thereafter Raymond set about setting up his own Loss Assessing Company; RM Property Claims.
During this time Mike O’Sullivan sought Raymond’s assistance in dealing with his portfolio and subsequently an agreement was reached to merge the two businesses.
